Museum Connections: Speed Networking with CAM + SDEMP

Join us for our version of speed dating—speed networking! 

Come make a match at our Speed Networking event hosted by San Diego Emerging Museum Professionals (SDEMP) in partnership with the California Association of Museums (CAM) at the 2026 Annual CAM Conference Reframing. No need to worry about awkward pauses here! Just come break the ice at this fun networking event and pick the brains of experienced museum professionals from a diverse array of museums and professional backgrounds. This is a wonderful opportunity for students, those looking for new opportunities, and anyone interested in learning more about career paths in museums and building community in the field! 

All are welcome to attend this is a FREE event! Pre-registration is required. Please register as either a seasoned or emerging museum professional. 

Seasoned Museum Professionals:
This registration is for those who want to participate as a seasoned museum professional. In this role, you will be expected to pass on your expertise to the emerging museum professional sitting across from you.

Emerging Museum Professionals:
This registration is for those who are planning to participate as an emerging museum professional. In this role, you will be receiving insight and knowledge from seasoned museum professionals sitting across from you.
