Associate Education Specialist for Teen Programs

The J. Paul Getty Museum is seeking an educator with a passion for engaging younger audience. Reporting to the Senior Education Specialist, the Associate Education Specialist for Teen Development Programs is part of a small team within the Education Department that supports a broad slate of youth programs, including Unshuttered, Student Gallery Guides, and Teen Lab. Through collaboration with other divisions, programs and departments across the J. Paul Getty Trust, as well as organizations across Los Angeles and the country that provide programming or services to youth, the successful candidate will be dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced in programs with creative content and complicated logistics, and a working knowledge of project-based learning, design thinking, and 21st century skill building - communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving. A background in youth development and working with under-represented, underserved and at-risk audiences is highly valued.
