Archives Assistant
The Charles M. Schulz Museum is seeking an Archives Assistant. The Museums Research Center provides care and access to correspondence, photographs, books, news clippings, and business records pertaining to the life and art of Charles M. Schulz. Reporting to the Collections Manager, this position will focus on processing archival records and institutional archives in a PastPerfect database. Other responsibilities include data entry, records management and encoding finding aids using EAD. The successful candidate will also participate in digitization, copyright and image requests, oral histories, acquisition of archival collections, and donor relations. A graduate degree in museum studies or MLIS and experience processing archival collections and preparing finding aids is required. Benefits available after 90 day probationary period.
