Using appropriate care and precautions, performs specialized cleaning of art objects, paintings, statues, rugs, tapestries, furnishings, and in general cares for a historical or art collection. Inspects objects for change; performs rodent and insect control; maintains climatic controls; participates in a planned preservation program; conducts inventories of collections; maintains records and catalogues objects; moves objects within the facility or to other locations.
