Collections Manager

The Hiller Aviation Museum hosts a collection of over 50 aircraft and thousands of other objects and artifacts preserving the history of aviation in Northern California.  The part-time Collections Manager oversees and manages the collection, a research library, and special collections. The Collections Manager is responsible for the registration, cataloguing, movement, safekeeping, storage, and conservation management of all Hiller artifacts, managing the registrar process, and incoming and outgoing object loans.  The Collections Manager also maintains collections spaces, trains and supervises volunteers, and responds to research requests.   A degree in Museum Studies or a related field, and/or two years of relevant experience, is desired, and interest in aviation is a plus.
