This year, CAM seeks to innovate, experimenting with our conference model to best reflect where we are and what we need as museum professionals.
With the theme of Cultivate, CAM invites its community to reflect on what it means to invest in best practices, intentionally build community, and nurture relationships that lay the groundwork for the future. Whether it be a practice, a space, a relationship, or an idea, what we choose to invest in shapes who we become and the communities we build. These summits offer an opportunity to reflect on the importance of our shared impact.
To cultivate is to look ahead while staying grounded in the present. It represents our individual and collective power of belonging, stewardship, and creativity. Each of us has work that needs tending. Together we can create the conditions for ideas to take root and communities to grow towards a more connected future.
The bulk of summit programming will occur on Tuesday, February 16, 2027. There will additional opportunities for networking, tours, and workshops on Wednesday, February 17, 2027.
